George Milligan — not enough good things can be said about this wonderful man and pioneering Mercy Flights founder and check pilot; Medford Tower air traffic controller and all-around great guy. He was a very good friend to my Dad, Max Guiley, Sr., who started the first Cessna Dealership and the Mercury Aircraft certified repair station at MFR right after World War II.
George put me through one of the most RIGOROUS check rides of my life when I got back to Medford from flying Navy jets in 1977. I really appreciated how absolutely THOROUGH he was when he okayed me to be one of the volunteer pilots for Mercy Flights.
