It’s me! This picture was taken on Table Rock as Bill and I were shooting the little film, The Great American Flying Circus. As I look back on it we did a lot of interesting things. We built moving camera mounts out of the guts of landing lights and hung cameras everywhere on the Chipmunk and the Cub. Bill even built a little wing which would serve as a moving camera mount, tethered to the Chipmunk in tight formation. It was a really great idea. It never worked, but the concept was daring and innovative. It’s been fun looking back on those days that served as the seed for current work.
If anyone has the original or a print, I’d love to have a scan of it.
